Run cert prep as a managed training program. One admin view. Readiness tracking. Per-employee training-record export across the specialty cert slate.
Built for teams tired of reimbursing scattered prep routes and reconstructing credential evidence when HR, procurement, insurance, or a client asks for it. Specialty credentials traditional prep providers skip — the long tail your team actually sits.
Your team’s readiness in one screen.
Roster, readiness scores, weak-domain flags, training-record export — built for the EHS / safety / training leader who has to know who’s ready to sit and who needs another week.

Self-Explanation Response — Domain V, Item 0412
“Engineering control comes first because it reduces exposure at the source and doesn't depend on worker behaviour. Ventilation on the mixing line cuts airborne concentration before PPE is ever relevant — PPE is the last line, not the first.”

Your team’s exam is on this list.
The big platforms chase mass-market credentials and skip the ones tied to your contract, your license, your regulator, or your renewal deadline. You sit a specialty exam — so we built the prep for it.
Safety & EHS
Industrial hygiene, construction safety, and professional safety credentials.
Healthcare
Hospital safety, environmental services, and healthcare facility management.
Environmental & Hazmat
Hazardous materials, indoor environment, and water-safety credentials.
Issued by the body. Earned by the candidate.
Specialty credentials are issued by the certifying bodies — ABIH, BCSP, NABCEP, IBFCSM. CertPrep gets your team ready to sit. The five examples below are illustrative of the disciplines we serve, not real customers.

Walk in covering every domain.
Every CertPrep candidate sits the real exam with the full blueprint mapped — not a sample, not a subset. Every CIH objective is practised, every distractor explained, before test day.
Illustrative — credentials are issued by the certification bodies, not by CertPrep. Photos are licensed stock; names and dates above are placeholders, not real candidates.
Built on learning science, not test-prep folklore.
Four peer-reviewed cognitive-science methods sit under every session — spaced repetition, retrieval practice, self-explanation, and pre-testing with calibration. Decades of replicated research built into the way your team studies. No guesswork.
Spaced repetition (FSRS)
Review queue scheduled by a modern forgetting-curve algorithm. Items resurface exactly when you’re about to forget them — not before, not after.
Cepeda et al., 2006 · FSRS 4.5
Retrieval practice
Active recall through practice questions, not passive re-reading. The single most replicated effect in learning research — typically +15–20% retention vs re-reading.
Roediger & Karpicke, 2006
Self-explanation
After a wrong answer, you write 1–2 sentences explaining why — before seeing the rationale. Boosts transfer to novel exam items by 20–30%.
Chi et al., 1994
Pre-testing & calibration
A short diagnostic before each domain primes encoding. We pair it with confidence ratings to surface overconfidence — the #1 silent cause of failed exams.
Roediger & Karpicke, 2006 · Hacker et al.
Find your credential.
The specialty credentials traditional prep providers skip. Your cert exists — we built the prep for it. New banks added every month.
Certified Industrial Hygienist
The industry-leading industrial hygiene credential. Every domain mapped to ABIH's published rubric.
Certified Healthcare Facility Manager
For healthcare facility managers. Every domain weighted to the AHA/ASHE exam outline.
Certified Hazardous Materials Manager
For hazardous materials professionals. Covers the current IHMM exam objectives end-to-end.
NABCEP PV Installation Professional
The Lead Installer Credential in Solar. This Platform Gets You Certified.
Associate Safety Professional
The foundation credential for early-career safety professionals.
Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional
For healthcare EVS leaders. Every item aligned to AHE's published exam blueprint.
We add specialty credentials continuously. If your cert has a published exam blueprint, we can usually stand up a new bank within weeks.
Three ways in. One product.
Buy a seat for yourself.
- Full question bank + mock exams for the cert you pick. Same product the team plans get — solo is just a single-seat, single-cert version.
- Personal readiness scoring — know when you’re ready to sit, before exam day.
- Written rationales on every answer — understand why, not just what.
- Study from any device — web and mobile web, with progress synced across sessions.
License seats. Ship your team.
- Question banks mapped to the real exam — every item tied to a published learning objective, with a written rationale.
- Per-member readiness scoring — know who’s ready to sit and who needs another week, before exam day.
- Full-length mock exams that mirror real test structure, timing, and difficulty curve.
- Per-employee training-record export — the dossier your HR, procurement, RFP, and insurance reviewers ask for.
Three steps. Sit ready.
Whether you’re a solo candidate or a safety lead enrolling your whole team, the flow is the same — diagnose where you are, practise what the real exam tests, and sit when the readiness score says yes.
Sign up, pick your cert
Individuals — try 10 questions free, then activate your solo plan in under a minute, pick your credential, go.
Team leads — create your org, invite employees by email, assign the right credential per seat.
Diagnose, then practise
A short diagnostic quiz scores you against every domain the real exam tests. From there you practise the topics you’re weakest at — not the ones you already know — with a written rationale on every answer, and spaced review that re-surfaces items as you’re about to forget them.
Sit when you’re ready
Take full-length mock exams that mirror the real test’s structure and difficulty. Your readiness score tells you when you’re set. Team admins see the same readiness view across every employee.
The structural proof. Not testimonials.
We don’t have customer logos to show you yet. Instead of borrowing them, here’s what’s actually sitting behind every seat.
The industry’s been starved of serious prep for CIH, CHMM, CHSP, CHFM, and the specialty safety credentials. Candidates show up underprepared — not because they’re bad at the job, but because no one built them a way through.
The content. Not the promise.
Below is one item from the CIH bank — stem, options, and rationales exactly as they appear in the app. Judge the content on what’s here, not on what we claim about it.
A chicken processing plant worker develops asthma-like symptoms after several weeks on the job. Spirometry reveals a 20% reduction in FEV1 following a work shift. The most likely hazard category responsible for this occupational disease is:
- APhysical hazard (cold temperature stress)
- BBiological hazard (endotoxin from gram-negative bacteria in poultry)
- CErgonomic hazard (repetitive cutting motions)
- DChemical hazard (cleaning disinfectant fumes)
Endotoxins — lipopolysaccharides shed from gram-negative bacterial cell walls — are a well-documented occupational respiratory hazard in poultry, swine, and grain industries because they cause inflammation of the airways through immune activation. The post-shift FEV1 drop is consistent with endotoxin-mediated airway inflammation per established occupational health literature on poultry processing environments.
Cleaning disinfectants such as quaternary ammonium compounds can cause occupational asthma and should be considered, but this answer is incorrect because in the poultry processing context with multiple weeks of onset, endotoxin from organic dust is the primary known etiology. The biological hazard profile better matches the industry setting and symptom pattern than chemical disinfectant exposure.
Every item · expert-reviewed
Every question passes through a structured editorial and subject-matter review process before it reaches the bank. Each item is read, edited, or rejected by a practitioner with working knowledge of the credential’s domain.
Fresh, and guaranteed

The serious questions.
Who is CertPrep Studio actually for?
Anyone sitting a specialty safety, EHS, or healthcare exam — CIH, OHST, ASP, CHMM, CHSP, CHFM,and more. Our marketing leans toward teams licensing seats for their employees (that’s where most of our volume is), but individuals can buy a single seat too. Same product either way.
What if my cert isn’t on your list?
CertPrep is a long-tail platform — we add specialty credentials continuously. If yours isn’t on the catalogue yet, email hello@certprepstudio.com with the cert. If the published exam blueprint exists, we can usually stand up a new bank within weeks. We prioritise certs with real candidate demand.
How do I know the content is actually accurate?
Every question is tied to a specific learning objective from the published exam blueprint, and each item passes through a subject-matter review before release. Every answer ships with a written rationale — the correct option and all three distractors, not just the right one. The sample question above is a real item from the CIH bank — judge our content on what you can see, not on what we claim about it.
How does pricing actually work?
Solo (1 seat) is $249/cert/year. Small Team (2–9 seats) is $199/seat/cert/year. Team (10–49 seats) is $149/seat/cert/year. One-time purchase — 12 months of access per cert, per seat. Every tier is per-cert; the volume discount kicks in at 2 seats and again at 10. Enterprise (50+ seats) is custom — talk to sales for those.
What if CertPrep isn’t working for me?
New customers are covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee. If CertPrep isn’t working for you within 14 days of your first paid charge, email support@certprepstudio.com and we’ll refund in full — no questions asked. Beyond that window. Full terms at our refund policy.
Can my employer pay for this?
Yes — most professionals expense cert prep as continuing professional development. Pay by card, get a receipt suitable for reimbursement. If you need a formal invoice or purchase order for enterprise procurement, email hello@certprepstudio.com and we’ll set it up.
Are you endorsed by any cert bodies?
We operate customer-led. We are not yet an approved-provider of any cert body — and we’re explicit about that. As candidates and teams pass, we bring that outcome data to issuing bodies and pursue formal endorsement on the strength of results. No fake seals. No implied affiliation.
Can procurement get an invoice, PO, W-9, or DPA?
Yes — all of the above. Invoice billing with PO numbers, Net-30 terms, W-9, and a Data Processing Agreement are all standard. Email hello@certprepstudio.com with your procurement requirements and we’ll send the full packet within one business day.
Where is our team data stored, and what do you do with it?
Customer data lives in Supabase (Postgres) hosted in the US. Stripe handles payment data — we never see card numbers. We do nottrain AI on your team’s study activity, mock answers, or self-explanations. You can export and delete your org’s data on request. Full details on our privacy policy.
How do team admins manage seats day-to-day?
Admins invite members by email, assign certs per seat, reassign seats if someone leaves, and pull the per-employee training-record export for any cert at any time. Readiness scores update continuously as members study and sit mocks. The dashboard preview above is the actual layout.
Walk into the exam already certain.
Start in under a minute. 14-day money-back guarantee on your first paid charge.
